This Privacy Policy describes how **Luis MAR LABS** ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our **Netless Comms Luis** mobile application (the "Service").

**We respect your privacy.** The core philosophy of our application is offline, direct communication. **We do not collect, store, or share your personal data.** All communication happens directly between devices on your local network (Wi-Fi Direct / Hotspot).

## Information Collection and Use

### 1. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect PII (Personally Identifiable Information) such as your name, email address, phone number, or IP address on any external server. The app functions without a user account and does not require registration.

### 2. Device Permissions

To provide the app's functionality, we request specific permissions on your Android device. These permissions are used **solely** for the intended features and data processed by them never leaves your local network.

*   **Microphone (`RECORD_AUDIO`)**:

    *   **Usage**: Required to capture your voice for the "Push-to-Talk" (PTT) and Voice Call features.

    *   **Privacy**: Audio data is streamed in real-time directly to the connected recipient(s) over your local Wi-Fi. It is **never** recorded to our servers or stored permanently.

*   **Camera (`CAMERA`)**:

    *   **Usage**: Required to capture video for Video Calls.

    *   **Privacy**: Video data is streamed directly to the recipient. We do not view, record, or store your video feeds.

*   **Location (`ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`, `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`)**:

    *   **Usage**: Android requires Location permissions to scan for and connect to nearby Wi-Fi devices (including Local Hotspots and Wi-Fi Direct peers).

    *   **Privacy**: We do **not** track your physical location, save your GPS coordinates, or share your location with anyone. This permission is strictly a technical requirement for local network discovery.

*   **Storage (`WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`, `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`)**:

    *   **Usage**: Required to save files (photos, documents) that you explicitly choose to receive from another user via the File Transfer feature.

    *   **Privacy**: We only access files you select to share or folders needed to save received items.

*   **Nearby Devices (`NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES`)**:

    *   **Usage**: On Android 13+, this permission allows the app to discover other devices on the local Wi-Fi network without needing broad Location permissions.

### 3. Data Safety

*   **Encrypted Transmission**: While our app operates on a local network, we recommend using a secure WPA2 password for your Hotspot to prevent unauthorized local access.

*   **No Cloud Storage**: Conversations (Text, Audio, Video) are transient. We do not store your chat history on any cloud server.

## Third-Party Services

The app serves as a standalone tool. However, it may be distributed via the **Google Play Store**, which collects its own usage data and crash logs. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

## Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not collect data at all, we also do not collect it from children.
