This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms of Service for the mobile application Video Studio Luis (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION AND OUR "PRIVACY-FIRST" METHODOLOGY

Luis MAR LABS operates Video Studio Luis primarily as an offline, powerful local-processing media tool. Our primary mandate is to respect your privacy. Because the App’s core functionalities—video encoding, transcoding, and editing via FFmpeg methodologies—are executed on your device’s local hardware, the App requires significantly less data collection than typical remote-processing applications.

2. DATA COLLECTION AND USE

We do not require you to create a user account to use our Application. Consequently, we do not collect, harvest, or request any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.

To function properly and provide its declared features, the App must request and obtain explicit access to certain native structures of your device. These are used locally and temporarily:

• Local Storage & Media Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO): This access is necessary exclusively to permit the App to locate, display, and read the media files you specifically choose to edit, and to write the newly generated (merged, trimmed, or transcoded) media files back into your device's storage. Media files are never transmitted to any external server.
• Microphone Access (RECORD_AUDIO): Requested solely if you utilize the App's overlay and audio recording features to dub or mix vocal audio into your video files. Audio recordings are stored locally and are processed directly into the final exported video file.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND TELEMETRY

Video Studio Luis does not integrate tracking analytics, invasive behavioral telemetry, or remote crash reporting mechanisms that inherently collect data without your immediate awareness. We do not incorporate third-party data aggregators or sell, rent, or lease any local data metrics.

4. DATA RETENTION

Since the Application does not transmit application data or user configurations to our servers, data retention refers entirely to how long files remain on your device:

• Locally Managed Data: Any videos, audio clips, or temporary cache files generated by the App are stored in your device’s sandbox folders or public media galleries. You retain 100% control over this data. You may delete the cache or the App at any time, which permanently purges the generated operation files.

5. SECURITY

Luis MAR LABS takes reasonable, industry-standard precautions to shield your use of the Application against unauthorized access or breaches. We rely on your device's native, built-in operating system protections (Android Application Sandbox Environment).

However, you should be acutely aware that no method of electronic storage or local device encryption is 100% secure. You remain responsible for the physical and digital security of your mobile device, including the use of screen locks, device encryption, and safeguarding credentials.

6. COMPLIANCE WITH EU GDPR & CCPA

Even though we do not collect personal data on remote servers, we affirm your rights under international privacy legislations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Access and Portability: Your files are already on your device, accessible to you completely without our intermediation.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Because we hold no data on servers, you may fulfill this right instantly by deleting the App and its associated stored files from your device.
• Right to Rectification: You may rename or modify any asset within the App natively.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Application does not contain content intended exclusively for children, nor do we knowingly collect any personal or non-personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain EU jurisdictions). If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with unsolicited data through unauthorized contact channels, please contact us at the email provided below, and we will take necessary steps to expunge that data permanently.

8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Luis MAR LABS continuously monitors the App ecosystem and applicable privacy laws, and we may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of substantial material changes by updating the "Effective Date" of this official policy page. Continued use of the Application following any updates constitutes the user's binding acceptance of such changes.
