1. Introduction

Luis MAR Labs ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our mobile application, Digital Vault SDMS (the "App").

The core philosophy of Digial Vault SDMS is "Zero-Knowledge." This means that we designed the App so that we cannot access, view, or store your personal data. All your files, photos, and documents are encrypted and stored locally on your device or in your personal cloud storage (if you choose to perform a backup).

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicitly clear about what we do NOT collect:

• No User Accounts: You do not create an account with us. We do not have a database of usernames or passwords.
• No Personal Identification: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
• No Server Storage: We do not upload your files, photos, or documents to our servers. Your data remains legally and physically in your possession.
• No Analytics or Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics for Firebase) to track your usage behavior inside the Vaults.

3. Data You Store (Encryption & Local Storage)

3.1. Content

Any file, photo, video, or document you import or create (via the Camera/Scanner) in the App is stored locally on your device's internal storage in a private directory.

3.2. Encryption (AES-256)

All files are encrypted using AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard).

• The encryption key is derived from the Master Passcode that you set.
• Crucial: We do not know, store, or have access to your Master Passcode. If you lose this code, your data is permanently irretrievable. We cannot reset it for you.

4. Permissions We Request

To function, the App requires specific permissions. We use these strictly for the stated purposes:

• Camera: Used only to take photos or scan documents directly into the encrypted Vault. Images are not saved to the public gallery unless you explicitly export them.
• Storage (Read/Write) / Photos & Media: Used only to allowing you to import existing files into the Vault or export decrypted files when you choose to share them.
• Biometrics (Optional): Used only locally to allow you to unlock the App quickly. Biometric data is managed by the Android OS; we never receive your fingerprint/face data.

5. Third-Party Services (Monetization)

The App is distributed via the Google Play Store and offers In-App Purchases (Premium Lifetime or Subscriptions).

• Google Play Billing: Transactions are processed securely by Google. We do not receive or store your credit card information. We only receive an anonymous digital receipt from Google confirming that "User X has purchased Product Y" to unlock Premium features.
• Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.

6. Backups and Migration

The App provides a "Backup/Export" feature.

• This generates an Encrypted ZIP Archive of your vaults.
• User Control: YOU decide where to store this file (e.g., your personal Google Drive, Dropbox, or a USB stick).
• We do not have access to these backups.
• The backup is encrypted with your Master Passcode. It is safe to store in the cloud because it cannot be opened without your specific code.

7. GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California) Compliance

Since we do not collect, process, or transfer your personal data ("Data Minimization"), many requirements regarding data deletion or access requests are satisfied by the nature of the App's architecture:

• Right to Access: You already have full possession of 100% of your data on your device.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the App or deleting specific Vaults. Since we hold no copy, this action is permanent and complete.
• Data Portability: You can use the "Export" feature to move your encrypted data to another device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
