- INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Radio Rapid Luis, a free live radio and TV streaming application developed by Luis MAR LABS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our application.
By installing or using Radio Rapid Luis, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

- WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
Radio Rapid Luis is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do NOT require account registration and we do NOT collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying personal information.
2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following information is stored exclusively on your device using Android SharedPreferences and is NEVER transmitted to our servers:
- Selected country/region preference
- Last played station name and URL
- Dark/light theme preference
- Custom stations added by the user
- List of stations deleted by the user
- Station display order preferences
- App language preference
- Last active tab (Radio or TV)
2.2 Data Processed During Streaming
When you play a radio or TV stream, your device connects directly to the broadcaster's streaming server. As part of a standard internet connection, the broadcaster's server may receive:
- Your device's IP address
- Standard HTTP request headers (User-Agent, connection type)
- The stream URL being requested
Radio Rapid Luis does NOT intercept, log, or store this connection data. The connection is established directly between your device and the third-party broadcaster. We recommend reviewing the individual broadcaster's privacy policy for information on how they handle connection data.
2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect
- Name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
- GPS location or precise geographic location
- Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, Advertising ID)
- Microphone or camera access
- Contacts, calendar, or files
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Cookies or tracking pixels
- Payment information

- HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
The locally stored preferences described in Section 2.1 are used exclusively to:
- Personalize your experience by remembering your region, theme, language, and station preferences across sessions.
- Enable core app functionality — the app requires these preferences to deliver its intended service.
- Improve usability by restoring your last state (e.g., last played station) so you can continue listening without reconfiguring the app.
We do NOT use your data for advertising, user profiling, behavioral analysis, or any form of data sale to third parties.

- LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our processing of any personal data is based on the following legal grounds under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679):
Article 6(1)(b) — Contract Performance:
Processing your preferences is necessary to provide the core functionality of the application you have chosen to install. Without these preferences, the app cannot deliver its intended service.
Article 6(1)(f) — Legitimate Interests:
Processing to ensure app performance and a consistent user experience, where such interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
5.1 Streaming Content Providers
Radio Rapid Free provides access to live audio and video streams operated by third-party broadcasters worldwide (including public broadcasters such as TVR, NPR, BBC, and commercial radio networks). When you initiate playback, your device connects directly to these providers' servers. We are not responsible for the data practices of these third-party services.
5.2 Google Play Store
The application is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may collect certain device and app information as part of the Play Store infrastructure. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for details.
5.3 AndroidX Media3 (ExoPlayer)
The application uses AndroidX Media3 (ExoPlayer), an open-source media playback library developed by Google. This library processes media streams locally on your device and does not independently collect or transmit personal data.
5.4 No Advertising or Analytics SDKs
Radio Rapid Luis contains NO advertising networks, NO analytics SDKs, NO crash reporting SDKs, and NO third-party tracking libraries. The application does not display advertisements.

- DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
6.1 Where Data is Stored
All preference data is stored using Android SharedPreferences in the application's private storage sandbox on your device. This data:
- Is accessible only to the Radio Rapid Free application (protected by the Android OS security model).
- Is not backed up to our servers or any external servers operated by us.
- May be included in Google's automatic device backup if you have enabled that feature in your Android settings (this is controlled by your device settings, not by us).
6.2 Retention Period
Locally stored preferences are retained for as long as the application is installed on your device. All data is automatically and permanently deleted when you:
- Uninstall the application, or
- Use the Android "Clear App Data" function (Settings → Apps → Radio Rapid Luis → Clear Data)
We have no server-side data to delete, as we never receive your data.

- YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under GDPR:
Right of Access (Article 15):
You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we process personal data about you. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can access it directly through Android Settings.
Right to Rectification (Article 16):
You can modify your preferences at any time within the app settings.
Right to Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Article 17):
You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app or using Android's "Clear Data" function. Since we hold no server-side data, no further action is required from us.
Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18):
You may restrict processing by disabling the app or clearing specific preferences. Contact us if you believe we are processing data contrary to GDPR.
Right to Data Portability (Article 20):
Your preference data is stored in a standard Android SharedPreferences format on your device.
Right to Object (Article 21):
You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Contact us with any concerns.
Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making (Article 22):
Radio Rapid Luis does not perform automated decision-making or user profiling.

- INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We do not transfer personal data to our own servers, therefore there are no international data transfers by Luis MAR LABS. However, when you stream radio or TV content, your IP address may be transmitted to broadcasters located outside the EEA (for example, US-based radio stations). These transmissions are inherent to internet-based streaming and are governed by the respective broadcaster's terms of service and privacy policy.

- CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Radio Rapid Luis is rated for audiences aged 3 and above on Google Play. The application does not contain content inappropriate for children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in EEA member states, as applicable under GDPR Article 8).
Since the application requires no registration and collects no personal data beyond on-device preferences, there are no special data collection provisions related to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact admin@ofertanoastra.ro and we will take immediate action.

- SECURITY
We implement the following measures to protect data associated with our application:
- Android App Sandbox: All app data is isolated by the Android OS security model, preventing other applications from accessing it.
- No Server-Side Storage: Since we never receive your personal data, a server-side data breach affecting our users is not possible.
- HTTPS Streaming: Where available, the app uses HTTPS streaming endpoints to encrypt data in transit.
- Code Protection: Release builds use ProGuard/R8 code minification and obfuscation to prevent reverse engineering.
- Signed Release Bundle: The application is signed with a private key to ensure integrity and authenticity.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted directly to third-party streaming providers.

- CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes:
- The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised.
- Material changes may be communicated through a notice on the Google Play Store listing.
- For significant changes affecting EEA users' rights, we will provide at least 30 days' notice where practicable.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
